The park is nice but quite small. You can do a whole visitation in 20-30 min. It is free, which is good, but it’s far from the city so you will probably need to go by car. There is a small cafe but it only provides you with basic things. When I did a visitation the sensorial area was closed. If you are into parks it can be a good place to visit but definitely it’s not a must go place. I give it four stars because it’s free, otherwise I would give three.

There's a lot of trails but you can only go with a guide, there's no place to buy food but because just few people come here, it's ok, it's a beautiful place to relax, do a piquenique or take pictures

A nice green jungle respite from city life and noise. New jungle plants are grown here and it is a place for people to learn about the jungle. We saw leaf cutter ants, and large ant nests in trees. I would have given this place 5 stars but many of the trails were closed so we only spent an hour at the gardens. It took us 10 minutes to flag down a taxi to get back to Recife.
