What a pleasant discovery in Flamengo: excellent food, with a variety of dishes that span the range of Peruvian cooking without compromise to local tastes. I have not had a single dish that I would not order again, from ceviche to a sort of Peruvian dobradinha. The focus is on the food, though, as the restaurant is tiny, simply furnished and often full at night. I would recommend a day time visit as more enjoyable. Some reviewers have complained about the pricing, and I have to push back and call it fair: yes, the location is simple, but the food is outstanding and there are no miracles in this respect. It is worth every real.

Small place with great variety of Peruvian dishes, including ceviche, and much more. Attentive, semi formal service. Not cheap, but reasonable for the good quality.

Good service and menu. My Peruan friend said it's not like the one in her country, though. Price is steep. I recommend the chicha morada.
