A great missed opportunity. It virtually contains nothing. Apparently the curator either is nonexistent or totally idiotic. With over three quarters of million indigenous peoples in Brazil this empty space sets the tone of what both the government and the academy cares about them. Not even a list/map of the different ethnic groups is there. At the same time of visiting it the Tapajos and Aware Muybu were demonstrating in the capital for their rights to keep their sacred lands whilst no mention to any current issues is discussed in one of the barely 5 panels inside the 'museum'. On the architectural side is not a special highlight, although it is interesting in that it is concealing a big outdoor space where cultural demonstrations can be held.

For a museum dedicated to the indigenous people of brasil it lacks substance.

A must-to-see place. If you are lucky, you can participate of ritualistic ceremonies.
