There was a strong crowd on a Sunday but the great majority of people wearing masks. Security guards were also at both entrances distributing sanitisers.. it feels quite safe and a good day out with the kids.

This is history. Many locals don't even know this place. But this is an amazing park to visit with your family. You can learn history and play with your kids. The view there is nice. As you can see the Cantareira mountains in the back. Century trees all over the place. Very nice place for a picnic. Right at the entrance you can have a fresh coconut water. Totally recommend a visit.

Wonderful place. Nothing is in English so you'll need someone to tell you about it so you can appreciate what you are seeing. Amazing history, amazing statues, and amazing views!

A very beautiful park, but it's falling into disrepair unfortunately. There is a nice nature trail at the top, a beautiful French garden in center, and a long slope down to the independence monument. This is still very impressive though it's mostly claimed by skateboarders.
